Why Bamboo?

Bamboo is the most sustainable all-natural plant fibre on earth. Because it has long fibres it is incredibly silky soft like the highest thread count cotton, but without the environmental impact. Bamboo fabric is naturally organic, super sustainable and incredibly eco-friendly whilst being fantastically soft and hardwearing.

Naturally Organic - bamboo is grown without aid from pesticides or fertilisers, unlike cotton which uses 25% of all the world’s pesticides. Bamboo canes are certified organic.

Sustainable - bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants, growing up to a metre in a day. Bamboo is a grass plant so, once it’s been cut, it will regenerate quickly without the need for replanting. It grows incredibly densely and so the yield per acre is excellent in comparison to cotton.

Eco-friendly - bamboo absorbs 35% more carbon dioxide than equivalent stands of trees. More bamboo would help to cut the rising levels of carbon dioxide.

Breathable - the porous fibre makes bamboo material breathable and extremely comfortable against the skin.
